Young Identity at HOME

Young Identity sessions will return to HOME on Monday 28 June. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, places for the live workshops are limited to 10 and will be offered on a first come first served basis via an online booking form which will be sent out to the Young Identity mailing list weekly. Workshops will also continue to be delivered online alongside the live session to allow for more participants to join and for this project to remain accessible to all.

Calling all aspiring writers, poets and spoken word artists aged 15-25. Whether you’re already penning your own poetry or just fancy giving it a go we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you to work with Manchester’s premiere youth spoken word project, Young Identity.

Fresh from launching their latest book, Young Identity at HOME meet every Monday. The team will deliver spoken word workshops inspired by HOME’s artistic programme. Workshops will take place from 19:00-21:00 and are open to all young people aged 15-25.

Led by outstanding facilitators, versatile poets and established spoken word performers, you will get the chance to respond to the evocative films, theatre and art exhibitions at HOME, through a dynamic spoken word programme.
