Ever wondered how you could transform a room into an underwater world, a winter wonderland or a New York cityscape? If you like painting and design, model making and the more fantastical side of interior decoration then get involved in ‘Setting the Scene’, this year’s summer school for 11-13 year olds.Working with set designer Caitlin Jones, we’ll be creating our own set for a party, painting murals, making props, experimenting with design, costume and lights. Guests making a special appearance include lighting and theatre designers Kevin Sleep and Sophie Tyrrel who’ll be giving us some top tips on how to get on in the business as well as teaching us the tricks of the trade. The week will culminate in a final party for friends and family as well as a special photoshoot.
