Participants must be aged 11-13. In this week’s summer school we’ll be making a magazine, from original idea to final design and publication. Like all good fanzines, it’ll say something about the things you’re mad about, full of pictures, reviews, cartoons and special features. You will be involved in lots of activities, from being photographer (or model!) on a fashion shoot, to designing page layout or interviewing a local celebrity. Special guests include an artist, a designer and magazine photographer who will be helping you along with your creations. See your name in print at the end of the week when the fanzine is hot off the press!This week will be led by artist Sue Platt and Kath Welford.No special skills are required to take part in this week – just bags of enthusiasm!
