Director Ken Loach has been at the forefront of British film and television for over 50 years. However, rather than rest on his many, well-earned laurels, the recent award of the Palme d’Or at Cannes for his latest I, Daniel Blake shows that his filmmaking is still as vital and angry as ever. To mark the release of the documentary, Versus: The Life and Films of Ken Loach, that celebrates his career, we are pleased to welcome Ken Loach to HOME for this extended ‘in conversation’ to discuss his work, collaborations and maybe even a bit of politics.
Ken Loach will be in conversation with Andy Willis, Reader in Film Studies at the University of Salford and Senior Visiting Curator: Film at HOME.
