Urdu GCSE, AS and A2 Study Day: Load Wedding

This Urdu study day will be built around a screening of Load Wedding. Students will watch a full screening of the film and this will be followed by a series of Urdu GCSE and AS/A2 level language exercises based on the film’s main character and themes. The study session activities will be only in Urdu with Urdu script.

Load Wedding is a comedy around the pressures on individuals to marry. Raja is Baby Baji’s younger brother and when he is set to marry before her, it jeopardises her dowry and chance of marriage. He has 24 hours to change Baby Baji’s future.
