Tuesday Talks: Roger Palmer

For nearly two decades Roger Palmer’s photographic work has contributed to international debates on the representation of landscape and its relationship to colonialism and post-colonial discourse. It has been exhibited widely in Europe, North America, Africa and New Zealand. In 1988 he co-founded the MFA course at Glasgow School of Art and is currently Professor of Fine Art at Leeds University. This ongoing series of talks by artists and other experts explores the driving forces within contemporary art and visual culture, by focusing on what has influenced and inspired each invited speaker. The series is a collaboration between Pavel Büchler, Manchester Metropolitan University and Cornerhouse.
