Matts Leiderstam’s paintings and sculptural works examine the search for the picturesque and sublime within the tradition of 18th and 19th Century landscape painting. His major work Grand Tour was shown in its earliest form at the Venice Biennale in 1997, since it has been exhibited, and augmented into an extensive archive. Leiderstam’s work has been exhibited internationally and he lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden.
