Tuesday Talk: Elizabeth Price

Price’s practice is characterised by her documentation of a personal task or commitment, usually straightforward, sometimes absurd and on occasion laborious. By extending each task over a long time, each presentation of the work constitutes a new episode towards fulfilling the task. Price’s work has been shown recently as part of the Jerwood Artists’ Platform and at Mobile Home in London. This ongoing series of talks by artists and other experts explores the driving forces within contemporary art and visual culture, by focusing on what has influenced and inspired each invited speaker. The series is a collaboration between Pavel Büchler, Manchester Metropolitan University and Cornerhouse.
