Tom Lubbock talks about what inspires and influences his practice.

Tom Lubbock is an art critic and illustrator. He has been the art critic for The Sunday Correspondent (1989-90), The Independent on Sunday (1990-93), and – since 1997 – for The Independent. His images have appeared as magazine illustrations, book covers, advertising posters, TV title sequences. From1999-2004 he was the Independent’s Saturday cartoonist. Publications include: “Goya – Drawings from the Private Albums” (Lund Humphries, 2001), “Ian Hamilton Finlay: Maritime Works” (Tate, 2002), Carol Rhodes (National Galleries of Scotland, 2007).
