The Producer and Artist Relationship

Continuing our programme of workshops for producers and makers for 2021

A practical workshop with Independent Producer Rafia Hussain, aimed at both artists and independent producers.

Together we will look at:

  • how artists and producers can find each other
  • models of collaboration/working
  • boundary setting
  • best practice

You will leave with resources to take away into your practice and help you grow as an Artist or Producer.

About Rafia

Rafia is an independent producer based in Nottingham. She has worked with a diverse range of artists, companies and venues including Derby Theatre, In Good Company, China Plate, B Team, Demi Nandhra, One Tenth Human, Fifth Word and Tara Arts. Tickets are available as ‘Pay What You Can’ – the suggested price for this event is £2.50 – but there are a range of ticket prices so you can choose what you can afford from the options, including £0 as we want as many people as possible to access our workshops.

The workshop will take place over Zoom. You will be sent a link in advance of the session.
