exposures is delighted to welcome the winning filmmakers of the Short Animation and Short Film categories at the Orange British Academy Film Awards in 2007. Ian W Gouldstone (GUY 101) and actor Jeanette Rourke (DO NOT ERASE) will show their films and discuss the journey from conception to awards. Chaired by award winning writer and director Farah Abushwesha, the panel will also consider the current climate for short films and the possible future for the medium.

DO NOT ERASE is about Annie, who sends video diaries to her 19-year-old son, stationed in Iraq under the British Forces. The videos soon becomes more than just a diary. Set against the backdrop of the current Iraqi occupation, the film explores the conflict’s impact on an ordinary family in the north of England.
