The BBFC Debate 2009

This event is aimed at AS and A2 students studying censorship, regulation and shocking cinema. The session will begin by introducing the work of the BBFC and will discuss censorship and certification. Mark Piper will introduce a film which has stimulated debate amongst audiences or amongst BBFC examiners themselves. Following the film screening, students will debate the BBFC’s final certificate decision and discuss the issues raised in the film.

This event will be open to 14-19 year olds and their personal tutors only.
