Telenovela Interactive Outdoor Screening

As the September full moon rises, join Lowri Evan’s for the world premiere screening of ner new project Telenovelaa soap opera made from her life and sketchbooks (and the gap between them). Set in Brazil and the UK, you can expect a thrilling adventure blurring fiction and documentary; with all the cliffhangers and mundanity you’d expect when you try and televise your life.

All 16 episodes will be shown together as a one-hour interactive outdoor screening at Islington Mill. There will also be an introduction from lead artist Lowri Evans, along with sharings and performances from associate artists on the Telenovela project.

A pop-up bar will also be open throughout the evening, serving Brazilian themed drinks. The bar is card-only.

Venue & Accessibility

This is an outdoor event, so please prepare appropriately for the weather. In the event of very poor weather, the organisers will move the screening indoors, though this may limit capacity.
