Symposium/ The Distribution and Exhibition of Chinese and Asian Film in the UK

Enthusiasts for Asian cinema often bemoan the fact that hardly any of the films they love find their way onto UK cinema screens. This problem is the starting point for this two day symposium which brings together filmmakers, academics and professionals working in various forms of film distribution and exhibition to discuss the issues facing those interested in broadening the availability of Chinese and Asian cinema for UK audiences.

The symposium fee includes the cost of refreshments, a buffet lunch on Thu 29 March, and admission to the screening of 11 Flowers, Wed 28 March, 18:00
