Summer Schools: DVTV

Calling all would be Zoe Balls and Declan Donnellys. If you enjoy watching television programmes like SMTV or THE PRIORY, then this is your chance tohave a go at making your own magazine programme ­ with a little bit of help from the experts. Usingmini digital video cameras you will work with local filmmaker Andy Lawrence to design and film your own show. Originality and experimentation will beencouraged. Artist Sue Platt will be on hand all week.Mon 24th Take part in a camera skills workshop and meet, Granada Television Producer Isabelle Gunner who will discuss what makes good TV.Tue 25thStart working on the content and storyboard of your programme.Try out the digital video cameras.Wed 26thOut and about on location.Thu 27th Spend the day in post production editing your programme, adding music and any commentary.Fri 28thPut the finishing touches to your programme.
