Seven of Britain’s greatest films have been beautifully restored and will be coming to our cinemas this summer in a unique big screen event. Every Tuesday from 31 July, these classic British films will be screened using the latest digital technology. As part of the celebration, a new documentary series on BBC2, British Film Forever, will feature exclusive interviews with leading British stars and filmmakers to mark the BBC’s Summer of British Film.
A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH was chose by Cornerhouse’s public when asked what their favourite British film would be.
