Slate Social: October 2019

Eclipse’s Slate is an international movement in the North of England, that will support thousands of Black Independent Artists by increasing access to local, national and international networks. To Eclipse, Black includes anyone who is marginalised for their race or ethnicity.

Slate Social is a place to meet other artists of colour in an informal setting. Whatever art form you’re working in, whether you’re starting out or an old hand, this space is for you!

This is also the opportunity to chat to Slate Enabler, Adam Lowe, who will be be on hand to let you know about the latest opportunities from Slate.

Adam Lowe is a writer, publisher and producer from Leeds, who moved to Manchester 10 years ago. He’s keen to work with all black artists on developing a presence, applying for funding and accessing networks.

Please just turn up, or feel free to let Adam Lowe know you are coming by emailing

Slate socials are held at the tables next to the first floor bar.
