Representation in British Cinema: CHILDREN OF MEN

This event will explore the key concept of representation. Issues of gender, class and ethnicity in British Cinema will be considered alongside the representation of contemporary social issues in a ‘futuristic narrative’. The event will include a full screening of CHILDREN OF MEN. Suitable for both AS Media and AS. Examples will be taken from a range of film extracts to complement the main screening.
