PUSH LAB – New ways of Breathing

Through participatory performances, we will breathe in ways which make us feel alive. Brush in hand, bare feet on sand, we will enter a sonic sea of breath and gong – the darkness from which our performances will unfold.

We will play and rest in respiration – breathing up and down, round and round, in sync, in discord, in measurement of time, in communication and chaos – breathing for the sake of itself – we will connect through breath to self, other and environment.

Wear something comfortable.

There is nothing to prepare for this workshop.

This session will be facilitated by Hugh Stant and Tam Dibley of new func.

new func is a series of events exploring new ways of being. Through participatory performances they experiment with the actions necessary to life; questioning how we live and how to feel alive. We greet, breath, read, eat… in greater connection with self, other and environment.
