Project and Survive

Sixty years ago this month, the bombings of Hiroshima (6th) and Nagasaki (9th) changed the world forever. The threat of nuclear annihilation permeated everything and everywhere like fallout. Over the years changes in public reaction to the nuclear threat (be it from the arms race or unsafe power production) have been reflected in the cinema – from the mutant monster movies of the 50s to the terrorists with bombs flicks of the turn of the century.
