Join Farnham Maltings’ International Producer, Hannah Slimmon to learn more about different ways you can ‘tour’ your work internationally without travelling.
Licensing artistic works to local producers or translating stage shows to different media is nothing new, but it feels increasingly relevant at the moment in light of international travel restrictions and the ongoing climate emergency.
This workshop will present a series of case studies, as well as the practical things you might need to consider and where to find more info. We hope it will spark ideas of how you can get your work out there in an appropriate and sustainable way.

Tickets are available as ‘Pay What You Can’ – the suggested price for this event is £2.50 – but there are a range of ticket prices so you can choose what you can afford from the options, including £0 as we want you to be able to access these workshops.
About Hannah
Hannah Slimmon is International Producer at Farnham Maltings where she manages the caravan programme, which is designed encourage England based theatre to think and work internationally. caravan comprises a biennial showcase, projects with international partners and professional development opportunities for artists. She is also the lead producer for Farnham Maltings produced artists Bertrand Lesca and Nasi Voutsas. Hannah has over 10 years experience of developing and touring new contemporary theatre both in the UK and internationally, and has worked for organisations including Fuel, Artsadmin and LIFT.
Farnham Maltings is a producing organisation based in south east England. We believe that creativity helps us make sense of the world, brings people together and has the potential to articulate new ideas.
