Hayley Newman will be giving a performance of ‘Soundgaze’ in the galleries. Soudgaze is a performance in which two sets of electronic weighing scales are used to trigger over 300 sound samples. The weightvalues of objects are sent as data from electronic scales to a computer. During the performance objects are placed onto the scale to produce a sound track to the action.This is free of charge and booking is not required.
