Responding to current debates in the industry and to the strength of films made by women discovered during our programme research, we feature a special focus on contemporary women filmmakers. An informal and informative discussion with visiting female filmmakers Nely Reguera, director of ¡Viva! 2017 film María (y los demás), and Mariela Artiles of Candela Films, and Dr Abigail Loxham from the University of Manchester. Open to everyone, from film lovers to aspiring filmmakers and film students, and all those interested in the experience of women in film.
