Open House Thursdays/ Spoken Word and Poetry by Manchester Open Artists hosted by Gerry Potter

Spoken Word and Poetry

A night of spoken word and poetry with Manchester Open Artists. Featuring a short film by Rachel Shore and performances by Nadeem Zafar, Sukhi Bansal, Lyndsey, Phil Orton, Rosa Wright & Emma Sharrocks. To host the event is Manchester Icon Gerry Potter, ageing poetic teenager who won’t let go of the underground counter-cultural power of all our artistries. Everyone is an artist. The power is in our hands!

Each Thursday as part of the  Manchester Open Exhibition  we will be hosting a series of takeovers and interventions by a variety of artists, groups and performers. Including performance work submitted for the Manchester Open, and invited artistic responses.

The gallery will be open until 21:00 on Thursday evenings so you can enjoy the exhibition outside of standard gallery opening times.
