This lively and informative One Hour Intro will provide insight into the box office hits and hidden gems of contemporary Spanish comedy.
Using a variety of clips from ¡Viva! 2012 and recent Spanish successes, we’ll examine the contexts that make these genre examples unique. There will be a special focus on the role of graphic artist and con-man Manuel Vázquez in the comics culture of the late Franco years.
