One Hour Intro: Screening The Text

This illustrated One Hour Intro will consider the process of adapting literary works for the big screen. Focusing particularly on crime novels and Arnaldur Inridason’s Mýrin (JAR CITY), Roy Stafford will address issues such as fidelity to source material and will consider how film presents the writer’s imagination through casting and performance, costume and art design, camerawork and editing, dialogue, sound and music.
