In this One Hour Intro, Peter Krämer, one of the leading experts on this period of American film history and author of numerous works related to the subject, will join our Visiting Curator of Film Andy Willis to discuss the reasons for these shifts, some of the key works of the era, including The Graduate and Bonnie and Clyde which both screen here at HOME this month, as well as questioning some of the accepted critical ‘truths’ of the new Hollywood.
