This introductory talk traces the careers of Lars von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg from their Dogme origins to their new English language films. Their new films, whilst not Hollywood productions, both contain prolific stars and are set (if not filmed) in America. Led by Jason Scott, lecturer in Film Studies at Sheffield Hallam.
