The Baader-Meinhof group of left-wing terrorists is an important part of recent West German history. This talk will attempt to analyse the specific historical and social environment from which the RAF originated and operated in. The actions and legacy of the group will be discussed alongside excerpts of earlier film clips of the group, comparing and contrasting them with the latest high-profile production.
