On the Chinese calendar, 2007 is Lunar Year 4704-4705. On the Western calendar, the start of the New Year falls on February 18, 2007 — The Year of the Pig.

To mark the New Year, from Saturday 17 March for one week only, The Bigger Picture welcomes the return of Open Submission artist Karen Lamb’s Pig’s Dream.

Pig’s Dream is all about a little pig with a big dream to become a children´s piggy bank. Lamb’s film is a musical puppet animation for children, with a surprise ending!

Karen Lamb is a puppet-maker/animator, illustrator and scriptwriter. She has animated children´s puppet series for Swedish TV: `Nils Holgersson´s Journey´, `Villgott´ and `Villgott,and Villja´ as well as several of her own short films. She is also the co-scriptwriter of `Go Yoyo, go!´ an educational children´s series for Swedish TV.
