The event, which includes a full screening of In Search of a Midnight Kiss, will be suitable for AS Film and Media students developing their ideas about how key concepts such as narrative, genre and representation relate to ideas about the classification of films for distribution. The case study film is a low budget, independent film with a fresh take on romantic comedy that proved both critically and commercially successful.

Lonely and desperate on New Year’s Eve, Wilson wants to put the past year behind him and just wallow. Browbeaten by his buddy, Wilson agrees to place a personal ad for a blind date, hoping for a midnight kiss.
