An all day event hosted by First Light – the UK Film Council’s scheme to support young filmmakers.
Aimed at professional and community-based filmmakers, the day will include sessions on: traditional and new forms of film exhibition and distribution, signposting training/career/education opportunities for young filmmakers and resources for cine-literacy.
Skillset, as the Sector Skills Council for the Audio Visual Industries, will be on hand to provide individuals with information and careers advice surgeries about maintaining and advancing professional skills. First Light will also be offering one-to-one funding surgeries for any queries about their lottery funding programmes.
