Maddy Prior

Maddy prior has established herself as a pivotal figure in contempory British folk music and is probably best known as the principle singer of ‘Steeleye Span’. Their two chart topping singles ‘All Around My Hat’ and ‘Gaudete’ are foudly remembered hits of the seventies and the band have achieved many gold discs and commercial success around the world. Maddy has been at the helm through many line-up changes and still sings in the band with undiminished pleasure.
