Carmen Herrero will examine the representation of childhood and youth, and its place in various social and cultural contexts relevant to exam syllabuses. There will be opportunities to practise exercises which can be incorporated into class work alongside different filmic approaches as well as scene analyses of: COBARDES; EL ESPÍRITU DE LA COLMENA; EL ESPINAZO DEL DIABLO; NOVIEMBRE; EL LABERINTO DEL FAUNO and LADRONES.
