The session will introduce ideas and resources for studying World Cinema. It will be relevant for teachers approaching the World Cinema options in WJEC Film Studies FS5, including Cinematic New Waves and Japanese Cinema 1950-70, and also
for teachers supporting students undertaking ‘creative studies’ for FS4 and independent study for OCR’s A2 Media critical research unit 2734 and AQA’s A2 Media Unit 5.
