Kattaka (12) lives in Berlin with her parents. By chance she finds out that the man she has called “Papa” all her life is not her real dad. Very much in anger she decides to find her father who is working on a ship in Poland. She goes on a road trip with her neighbour, Lene (75) and her best friend Knäcke. They embark on a journey that teaches all concerned important lessons for themselves and each other.
