The case study will trace the development of the ‘repertoire of elements’ in the horror genre over time and across different film cultures, emphasising the development of genre as a ‘critical tool’ and culminating in a study of East Asian horror.
Using a range of film extracts, the event will address the concerns of A2 modules in Media Studies and Film Studies (all specifications).
