Capacity: 40 places

This event is open to 14-19 year olds and their personal tutors only.

Taking David Mackintosh’s exhibition as a starting point, students will be involved in innovative hands-on drawing exercises. Using quick and simple drawing techniques, inspired by Mackintosh’s own unique practice, students will work on transforming their sketches into short animated sequences using a variety of materials. The session will include a tour of the exhibition and introductory talk on the role of drawing in contemporary fine art, providing students with the chance to develop both practical and theoretical knowledge.

Led by Andrew Bracey, Manchester-based artist and lecturer in Fine Art at The University of Lincoln
