This event is now SOLD OUT

Our one-off New British Cinema Quarterly screening of British Shorts Programme – The Joy of Six will be followed by Q&A with writer/director Will Jewell, chaired by Isabelle Croissant (Cornerhouse Programme Manager, Creative Industries).

Will has scripted work for the BBC and Sky, and has developed and written five web drama series for the BBC and Channel 4, including the BAFTA-winning Georgian crime drama Bow Street Runner. Will began his career in filmmaking with the award-wining short comedy Money To Burn, followed by Boglife and Lovebite, a dark, twisted noir about two strangers meeting in a bar. He then moved on to direct his first feature film documentary, South Coast (2008), about the effects of US hip hop culture on British seaside towns. Will follows up this award-winning film with short thriller Man In Fear which returns to his narrative roots, exploring a twisted and paranoid world around conceptual artists.
