Directing for TV: deconstructing an episode of Waterloo Road

Join one of the directors currently working on Waterloo Road for an illustrated talk that will give you an insight into how a director approaches a TV project and adds their own perspective to a particular episode, whilst keeping the integrity of the whole series.

Using a specific episode of Waterloo Road as a basis, they will deconstruct the role of a TV director and the creative and practical choices their role involves in order to get the right shots to tell the right story; whether it is about performance, angles, equipment or dealing with specific constraint TV directors have to work with.
