Producers Toolkit – Creating Contracts

Continuing our series of Producers Toolkit Workshops, we are delighted to welcome Charlotte Jones, Chief Executive, Independent Theatre Council (ITC) to host a session on creating contracts.
This session will be particularly helpful to anyone who ever has to draft contracts for people working for their organisation.
Please note that this is a bespoke workshop created for the Producers Toolkit with HOME and ITC and is aimed at Greater Manchester producers and makers. We encourage you to send specific questions in advance of this session, so Charlotte can cover topics requested by this group.
You will also have an opportunity to learn more about ITC, what it does and how it can benefit you as a creative. We’d really welcome questions in advance of this session.

This workshop is aimed at Self-producing artists, producers and anyone who has to create contracts! Places are limited. 
Tickets are available as ‘Pay What You Can’ – the suggested price for this event is £2.50 – but there are a range of ticket prices so you can choose what you can afford from the options, including £0 as we want you to be able to access these workshops.The workshop will take place over Zoom. About Charlotte Jones

Charlotte Jones read English and Philosophy at York University and Law at the College of Law Chancery Lane. She trained as a solicitor and worked as a legal advisor at Brixton Law Centre and the Interchange Studios. She also worked at York Rape Crisis and Women’s Aid as a counsellor and advisor and as a freelance trainer and facilitator since 1991, specialising in company management, contracts and negotiating skills. Charlotte has been Chief Executive of ITC since 2000 and was previously Deputy Director. Charlotte specialises in advice and training on leadership, governance, company management, contracts and negotiating skills.
