Course: Mentoring The Next Creative Generation

Mentoring young creatives (both formally and informally) is vital to our work with young people. Excellent mentoring enhances skills through supportive relationships and encourages space for self-directed learning whilst helping shape behaviours which in turn encourage growth and development in others.

Following a successful three-year programme (Stepping Up: Young Leaders Training), Artswork, Oxfordshire Youth Arts Partnership Trust (OYAP) and Oxford Brookes University have teamed up to bring you this course at HOME. Exploring the principles of mentoring, you will be equipped with the tools to support the next generation of creative practitioners and leaders.
