This screening in the galleries will contrast artists making work with traditional craft techniques with artists active in new media.

Specially curated by Yuliya Sorokina, co-curator of Central Asian Project who is based in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Yuliya Sorokina will introduce the screening with Viktor Misiano.
Viktor Misiano is a theoretician, curator of contemporary art, chief-editor for Moscow Art Magazine and editor for Manifesta Journal a journal of Contemporary curatorship. He has curated a number of exhibitions including the Central Asian Pavilion at the 51. Venice Biennale.
