BAFTA Preview plus Q&A/ Sightseers

We are pleased to welcome Sightseers director Ben Wheatley and lead actor/co-writer Steve Oram for this advance preview of the film followed by a post-screening Q&A chaired by Ian Haydn Smith (Editor, Curzon Cinemas Magazine). A hit at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, this film is must-see for British film fans and showcases the talents of two Brit comedy scene regulars.

Produced by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) Sightseers is an endlessly enjoyable film for viewers with a wicked sense of humour and this pitch black comedy cements Ben Wheatley’s growing reputation as a talent to watch. Chris and Tina are a loved-up couple setting off on their first holiday together. Tina is desperate to escape her sheltered life with her meddling mother, and Chris can’t wait to share the delights of a caravanning holiday. But it doesn’t take long for the eccentric couple’s romantic bubble to burst, and litterbugs and irritating caravan neighbours meet a sticky end when the trip turns nasty.
