We welcome artists Khaled Hafez, Sherif El-Azma, Khalil Joreige and Marwa Arsanios who will be pleased to discuss their work and answer your questions. From photography to film and unique installation across all three galleries, the act of making against a backdrop of un-making (be it conflict, warfare, dissolution of race or disputed identity) need not be explicitly negative in nature. Instead the work in this group exhibition ranges between being a playful, critical and intelligent response to long-expired stereotypes.
The event will commence with a tour of the exhibition then, following a short break, the group will move to the Annexe for a discussion, when you have the chance to pose your own questions about the work featured.
