House Party has something for everyone; open mic early evening with a relaxed informal feel, followed by live music from local bands and artists and finally DJ’s playing later in the evening for those wanting to party into the night.
The line-up for November’s House Party included:
- Open mic and karaoke
- Live set from MC Geezer*
- DJ set from House Party resident DJ Poochie plus guests
And more!
*MC Geezer is a MC and Producer from South London. Being deaf, he uses both spoken and signed language to rap his lyrics, which talk about respect, community & politics. From his early influences like Eminem, NWA and the Wu Tang Clan, he has built a fan base and performed across London, and recently, Indonesia. He is also part of Deaf Rave, a club night organised entirely by and for deaf people.
This event is delivered in partnership with Venture Arts and has become possible with generous funding from Young Manchester who are striving to improve opportunities for all children and young people across Manchester.
