Meggie and Dustfinger’s world has come alive this Autumn through our exciting World Duty Free funded Inkheart school project…
This year, we have teamed up with four year 7 classes from Newall Green High School, Manchester Health Academy and Manchester Enterprise Academy who have each ‘adopted’ an actor from the Inkheart cast.
Throughout the rehearsal process, the actors and pupils have exchanged weekly handwritten letters, shedding light on what’s been going on backstage as the show has developed.
Each class will also be taking part in creative theatre workshops and they will visit HOME for the very first time in December to see Inkheart and to meet their adopted actor.
On top of all of this, Manchester Enterprise Academy pupils were able to come along as special guests to our Inkheart press launch recently at Manchester Central Library. They dressed up as their favourite book characters for the event. Who’s yours?
