ACE Interactive with Jess Donn

A 2.5 hour, practical workshop to help you apply for Arts Council England funding

Join Producer and Fundraiser Jess Donn as they take you through the important considerations when applying for Arts Council England funding.

In the session on Thu 1 June, 17:00 – 19:30, Jess will be focusing on the Under 30k National Lottery Project Grant.

The key points covered will be:

  • Identifying different funding pots
  • How to set yourself up for funding
  • Using language to effectively communicate your project
  • Tips, tricks, and how to avoid common pitfalls

This workshop will be informal and interactive, so bring along your questions and get ready to put the FUN into FUNdraising!

There will be a break during this session.

 

About Jess

Jess is a Manchester-based producer and bid writer, specialising in interdisciplinary and interactive work.

As a freelance producer, Jess is currently working on numerous projects in both the commercial and subsidised sectors, supported by the Stage One Bursary.

They have produced work and led national tours in some of the UK’s top venues including The Lowry, Hull Truck & Summerhall.

They are the Associate Producer of award winning companies Plaster Cast and Shepard Tone Theatre.

Previously, Jess was at Mercury Theatre, Colchester as part of the Stage One Regional Placement, where they assisted on the opening season of shows on the venue’s relaunch post Covid and capital redevelopment.

Recently, Jess has written successful grants for some of the UK’s top artists including Symone, Dogmouth Theatre and The Thelmas.
