Using Oliver Dahan’s biopic of the timeless French icon Edith Piaf as a focus text, Isabelle Vanderschelden will address notions of French identity, stardom/fandom and music and culture. LA MOME will also be used as a basis for A2 level vocabulary and grammar exercises.
