This informal session will explosre the work of one of the key American Independent filmmakers of the last twenty years.Famous for financially backing his own work and refusing to give in to studio contraol, John Sayles has consistently worked to his own agenda, putting the issues that concern him (regional cultures, national values etc.) at the centre of his films.
